This site is operated by Eric Tribe (Tribe Ventures). It collects very little, and this page explains exactly what, in plain language. That includes being upfront about how I use AI tools, covered below.
What I collect
If you use the question form, you give me your name, email, and your message, and optionally your title and company. That is the only personal information the site asks for.
How it is used
Only to read and reply to you. Submissions are delivered to my inbox (eric@erictribe.com) through Resend, an email delivery provider. I do not sell, rent, or trade your information, and I will not add you to any mailing list unless you ask me to.
How I use AI tools
To work efficiently as a solo advisor, I use AI assistants such as Claude to help me read, organize, summarize, and respond to the emails, documents, and materials people send me. I am deliberate about the tools I use and the data protections behind them. If you would prefer that something you send not be processed with AI tools, just tell me and I will handle it manually.
Calls and AI notetakers
If we get on a call, I sometimes use an AI notetaker to transcribe it so I can capture action items and stay focused on the conversation instead of typing. I will tell you before any call is transcribed and ask if you are comfortable with it, and you can decline at any time, before or during the call, in which case I will not transcribe it. Transcripts are for my own follow-up only. They are never sold or published, and are not shared with anyone other than the notetaking software that processes them on my behalf under its own terms. You can ask me to delete the transcript of your call at any time by emailing eric@erictribe.com.
Hosting and logs
The site is hosted on Vercel, which keeps standard technical request logs such as IP address and browser type for security and operations, as is normal for web hosting. The site does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Third parties
Two providers help run the site: Resend for email delivery and Vercel for hosting. Each processes data under its own terms.
Your choices
You can ask me to access or delete anything you have sent by emailing eric@erictribe.com.
California residents
I operate out of California. If you live here, you have the right to know what personal information I hold about you, to ask me to delete it, and to not be treated differently for exercising those rights. I do not sell personal information. To make a request, email me at eric@erictribe.com.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top will change with it.
